Compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – in German “Datenschutz-Grundverordnung” (DSGVO) – entered into force on 25 May 2018. The GDPR replaced the existing European Data Protection Directive and the national data protection regulations with the aim of strengthening the security and protection of personal data throughout the European Union.
Processing of personal data
For products that involve the processing of personal data, IMT-Systems offers all customers the option of concluding a corresponding GDPR-compliant data processing agreement (DPA).
Certifications
All data centers we work with are ISO 27001 certified and additionally have a wide range of industry-leading technical and organizational measures in place to guarantee a high level of security and compliance for our customers.
Data protection and security
To ensure security in our data centers, we have a legitimate interest in processing personal data of our visitors. Visitors are required to provide their personal data (visitor information) and – where reader devices are present – fingerprints at the entrance. In addition, both the entrances to the data centers and the customer areas are monitored by video surveillance.
