All IMT-Systems data centers meet industry standard certifications. In Frankfurt am Main we use multiple high-performance data centers at Digital Realty (Interxion). Thanks to the extremely fast connection to Germany's largest internet exchange point, the DE-CIX, we offer optimal connectivity and the best possible latency within Germany and Europe.

Sovereign IaaS from Frankfurt am Main
With our Infrastructure-as-a-Service solutions, you gain the full flexibility of a modern cloud platform – without the sovereignty risks of US-based hyperscalers. All workloads operate exclusively in our data centers at Digital Realty (Interxion) Frankfurt am Main, under German jurisdiction and full GDPR compliance.
Unlike public-cloud providers, you know at any time where your data resides, who has access and which sub-processors are involved. No hidden third-country transfers, no CLOUD Act, no creeping license adjustments.
What our IaaS solutions include
Compute
Virtual machines on dedicated enterprise hardware – CPU and RAM resources tailored to your exact requirements, with live migration between hosts without downtime. We exclusively use current Dell PowerEdge servers with Intel Xeon Scalable processors and DDR5 ECC memory.
Storage
Flexible storage tiers for every use case:
- NVMe Flash for the highest IOPS for databases and transactional workloads
- Enterprise SSD as standard tier for production VMs
- Object Storage for backup, archiving and large data sets
- Ceph Distributed Storage with triple replication and self-healing
Snapshots, backups and disaster recovery concepts are part of the standard scope.
Network
Dedicated software-defined networking based on VMware NSX or VyOS – with own VLANs, virtual routers, micro-segmentation and site-to-site VPN connection to your corporate network. IPv4 and IPv6 native, with real public IP networks from our AS57358.
Firewall & security
Dedicated firewall appliances per customer (pfSense, VMware NSX or hardware firewall) – no shared edge. Carrier-level DDoS protection, optional web application firewall setup and full logging integration into your SIEM solution.
Cloud platforms
You choose the platform that fits your use case:
- Apache CloudStack as a sovereign multi-tenant cloud platform with self-service
- VMware vSphere (BYOL) for classic enterprise workloads
- Proxmox VE as open-source VMware alternative
- Kubernetes for cloud-native and container workloads
Redundancy across multiple locations
In Frankfurt am Main we have access to multiple data centers on the Digital Realty (Interxion) campus – including FRA8 and FRA15. On request we implement your IaaS platform geo-redundant across two or more locations:
- Synchronous storage replication between FRA8 and FRA15
- Stretched cluster with automatic failover
- Dedicated dark fiber connection between locations
- Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service on demand
This ensures your workloads remain available even during a complete data center outage.
Connectivity at DE-CIX
Through our AS57358 you gain direct access to more than 600 carriers, ISPs and CDNs at the DE-CIX – Europe’s largest internet exchange. Direct peering to all relevant cloud providers (AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, Google Cloud Interconnect) available on request.
For hybrid scenarios this means: measurably low latency, predictable bandwidth and no bottlenecks at peak hours.
