Our website uses cookies. These are small text files stored on your device that enable the analysis of the use of the website by the user. Cookies do not cause any damage to your device, do not contain viruses, trojans or other malicious software.

You can configure your browser to refuse the storage of cookies, to accept cookies only after confirmation, or to delete cookies automatically when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.

4. Server log files

The website provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser transmits to us in so-called server log files. These are:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request

5. Contact

If you contact us via the contact form provided, your information will be stored from the contact form, including the contact details you provided there, in order to process the request and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries) or, where the enquiry aims at concluding a contract, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

Spam protection via hCaptcha

To protect our contact form against automated entries (spam, abuse), we use the hCaptcha service. The provider is Intuition Machines, Inc., 350 Alabama St, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA. hCaptcha checks whether the data entry on our form is made by a human and not by automated programs. For this purpose, hCaptcha analyses various information (e.g. the IP address, information about the device and browser used, and the user’s behaviour while interacting with the form). The data collected is transmitted to and processed by Intuition Machines.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in protecting our website against abusive automated use and spam. Where data is transferred to the USA, this is based on the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Further information on data protection at hCaptcha can be found at https://www.hcaptcha.com/privacy and https://www.hcaptcha.com/terms.

6. Web analytics with Matomo

This website uses Matomo, an open-source web analytics software. Matomo uses cookies that enable an analysis of the use of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is stored on our server in Frankfurt am Main. The IP address is anonymized immediately after processing and before storage.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly.

7. Google Fonts

To ensure a uniform presentation of fonts, this website uses web fonts provided by Google. When you open a page, your browser loads the required fonts into your browser cache in order to display text and fonts correctly. For this purpose, the browser you use must connect to Google’s servers. This enables Google to know that this website has been accessed via your IP address.

The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The use of Google Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Where data is transferred to Google servers in the USA, this is based on the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Further information on Google Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
