VMware vSphere has been the industry standard for enterprise virtualization for over two decades. With our dedicated vSphere clusters, you get exactly this proven platform – operated on certified Dell hardware in our ISO 27001 certified data centers in Frankfurt am Main.
Proven enterprise platform
VMware vSphere 8 offers everything that business-critical workloads need: vMotion for non-disruptive live migration, vSphere HA for automatic failover on node failure, DRS for intelligent load balancing and vSphere Replication for disaster recovery. The entire cluster is managed centrally via VMware vCenter Server – with full API integration for automation through PowerCLI, Terraform or Ansible.
Dedicated hardware, guaranteed performance
Unlike vCloud multi-tenant offerings, you don’t share resources with other customers. Each node is physically dedicated – CPU cores, RAM and storage IOPS are fully available to your environment. We exclusively use VMware-certified Dell PowerEdge R670 hardware with the latest Intel Xeon Scalable generation, DDR5 ECC memory and enterprise NVMe/SSD storage.
BYOL: You keep control over your VMware licenses
After Broadcom’s acquisition of VMware, licensing terms have changed significantly. We have therefore decided on a clear line: We operate your VMware environment – you manage the VMware licenses yourself (Bring Your Own License).
What this means for you:
- Full licensing sovereignty: You keep the direct contractual relationship with Broadcom / VMware and thus control over versions, editions and contract terms
- Transparent infrastructure costs: With us you pay exclusively for the infrastructure – no hidden license margins, no opaque bundling
- Strategic flexibility: You can adjust your license strategy independently from us – without contractual dependency or lock-in
- Protection against license changes: If Broadcom changes conditions, you are better positioned as a direct customer than via a reseller
This deliberate separation of infrastructure and licensing protects you from the risks of a volatile licensing market and gives you the freedom to manage your VMware strategy independently.
No more VMware license? Let’s talk about Proxmox
We advise you honestly: If, due to the new Broadcom licensing policy, you no longer want or can hold VMware licenses, Proxmox VE with Ceph storage is today a full alternative – with most enterprise features, without per-socket licensing costs and without vendor lock-in. We operate both platforms and also support you with a migration from vSphere to Proxmox.
Storage options: vSAN or external SAN
You have the choice: VMware vSAN as a hyperconverged, integrated storage solution with linear scaling – ideal for clusters that scale together with compute demand. Alternatively external iSCSI SAN storage from Dell with synchronous mirroring – ideal for classic 3-tier architectures or when you want to scale storage and compute separately.
Sovereign infrastructure in Frankfurt
All vSphere clusters operate exclusively in our data centers in Frankfurt am Main – Digital Realty (Interxion) FRA8 and FRA15. with redundant power and cooling, ISO 27001, GDPR compliant, directly at the DE-CIX. On request we implement geographically distributed stretched clusters across FRA8 and FRA15 with synchronous storage replication.
Hybrid cloud and migration
You already operate VMware environments on-premises or in VMware Cloud on AWS? Through VMware HCX migration we can move workloads to our environment without downtime. Hybrid setups with existing vCenter instances are also possible.
